Satellite and Multimedia Education – A Tele Education Pilot in 1000 Schools of Karnataka

  • •Education Support & Infrastructure Implémentation Services, Maintenance and Monitoring

  • •Consortium partner of State Govt. of Karnataka, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Gumbi Software and BSNL in the SAME – A Tele Education Initiative in 1000 schools across 36 taluks in 18 Districts of Karnataka.

  • •Perform Pre-Qualification Survey Capturing – Geo Coordinates, Photographs along with a Questionnaire capturing the detailed information of Location, Demographics, Infrastructure, Communication and Power and help IIMB in finalizing the beneficiary schools.

  • • Commissioning, SLA commitment of having the 95% Uptime of the infrastructure and performing infrastructure health checks on regular basis

  • •Recruit, Train and Deploy Man Power in the identified schools to run the classes and perform various health checks of the deployed infrastructure as well as capture various data points at schools with respect to the students personal profile, attendance and performance needed for the research of IIMB

  • •Project Manage and Monitor to ensure the 95 % and above classes running

  • •Taluk Level Field Management Team Manages and Monitors the class running

  • •Taluk Level Tech Support Team Trouble Shoots the Infrastructure Issues and Regular Equipment Maintenance

    • •Central Back Office provides the daily MIS to IIMB for monitoring with respect to the class run status, attendance, infra structure status etc

  • •Coordination for conducting, evaluation of assessments of 4 lack plus students across 2000 schools across 72 taluks in 36 Districts of Karnataka twice in a year for next five years and also digitize theresults obtained for the further analysis from IIMB.
